Confession of Faith

Article I – The Bible

The Bible is exclusively comprised of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments. Holy men of God penned the original autographs as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. Section 3 – God the Son

We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal and only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and Virgin birth, His sinless life, miraculous ministry on earth, His death on the cross making atonement, once for all the sins of the world, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His exaltation to the right hand of the Father, and His imminent return for His church according to His promises.

We believe that Satan was created perfect, but sinned and became the archenemy of God, the father of lies, and the accuser of the brethren, seeking to tempt and torment mankind. He commands a great host of fallen angels. Although possessing great power, he is ultimately under the sovereign will of God, as evidenced by his ultimate doom in the Lake of Fire forever. Genesis 1:26-27, 2:7-2

Section 2- Marriage and Sexuality

We believe God designed marriage to be the physical, spiritual and emotional union exclusively between one man and one woman, divisible only by death. God hates divorce and remarriage is considered adultery except for cases of sexual immorality and for desertion.

We believe that men and women are spiritually equal, yet functions in distinct roles. The husband is to the loving leader, protector and provider for his home. The wife is to respond to this leadership in love and respect as a picture of the church as the bride of Christ.

The result is both physical death and spiritual death in conscious, eternal, punishment in a literal hell.

Section 3-Sanctification

We teach that every believer is instantly set apart to God in positional sanctification, and through obedience to the Word of God and the empowering of the Holy Spirit, the believer experiences progressive sanctification, increasing in Christ-likeness.

Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 6:4

Section 2- The Lord’s Supper

We believe that the Lord’s Supper is a commemoration of the Lord’s death to be observed till he comes; that the bread and fruit of the vine are only symbols of his broken body and shed blood, and that our observance of it is a pictorial testimony of the believers fellowship with Christ and should preceeded by personal examination.
Matthew 26:26-30; 1 Corinthians 10:16-21; 11:17-34.
